On the 13th June 2007, the league Vice President, Ron Wright, sadly passed away. Ron was taken ill while on holiday in Cornwall and despite all the efforts of the local medical personnel, died in hospital in Plymouth. He leaves his wife Barbara, daughter Julia and family. Ron served as Secretary of the league for 21 years from 1963 and the league's success during this period was mainly due to his efforts.
