After further discussions today it has also been decided that we are suspending both the senior and junior tournaments.
We are aware that there have already been some entries submitted along with payment. Sathya is going to work through getting refunds out to the people who have already entered.

As you will be aware the governments guidelines on the Corona Virus are being updated daily. The latest information we have received is that everyone should avoid all non-essential social contact.
With that in mind the officers of the St.Helens and District Badminton League have had a discussion on what the league should do going forward.
We have to consider what is best for the health and well-being of each club and its members taking on-board the advice from the government and the NHS.
With immediate effect the St. Helens and District Badminton League 2019/2020 season is now suspended.
Further updates will be issued in due course when more information becomes available. If you have any questions, please use the contact form on the website and we will do our best to answer them.

The fixtures for this season are now available on the website. You can visit them using the Senior menu at the top of the page or using the links below.
It has been announced at a committee meeting that there are going to be some resignations for the next season (2020/2021).
The roles that are going become available are:
In order for the league to continue we need someone to fulfill these roles.
The people who are currently in these roles have offered to sit down with anyone wishing to take over and show them the ropes so to speak.
